Since Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away premiered months ago, Peter Pan and Wendy have been grounded on their parade float. All that changed tonight when they finally took flight.
Disney Starlight Peter Pan & Wendy Float

On July 20, 2025, Disney Starlight debuted at the Magic Kingdom as Walt Disney World’s first new nighttime parade in over 10 years. The float features Peter Pan and Wendy dancing atop the London skyline, with an exaggerated Big Ben as the focal point. Golden pixie dust sparkles all around.
In our honest review of the parade, we noted that the Peter Pan and Wendy float was clearly inspired by the Dreaming Up daytime parade at Tokyo Disneyland, in which the characters are rigged to fly side-by-side on the float to truly stunning effect. However, for unknown reasons, the equivalent stunt has not happened in the Disney Starlight version of the float.
Peter Pan & Wendy Finally Fly

During April 9’s 8:30 p.m. performance of Disney Starlight, Peter Pan and Wendy finally took flight above their float in the first public performance of the stunt for guests.

Thanks for the pixie dust, Tink!

This is not the first change to happen to Disney Starlight. In December 2025, the parade’s Moana wave dancers swapped their sheer fabric “waves” for brightly-lit fiber optic cables after negative guest feedback.
