Here he comes! Hey, hey, the sole surviving member of The Monkees is going on tour with two local concerts planned for 2026.
Micky Dolenz will bring “60 years of The Monkees” to the Royal Oak Music Theater on Thursday, March 5, and to the Silver Creek Event Center at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, Michigan on Saturday, March 7.
Dolenz was the drummer and one of the lead singers for The Monkees which also featured Davy Jones, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith.
The group is known for songs, “I’m a Believer,” “Daydream Believer,” “Last Train to Clarksville,” and “The Monkees” TV theme song.
The band saw four of their albums reach No. 1 on the Billboard Chart in one calendar year in 1967.
