Part of Bethabara Road in Winston-Salem Closed due to downed tree

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. —

UPDATE: Winston-Salem Police say the road reopened at 6:40 AM Monday morning.

Part of a road in Winston-Salem is closed right now due to a downed tree.

Winston-Salem Police announced the 2600 block of Bethabara Road, at Highland Park Street, was shut down around 6:00 AM Monday.

It’s unclear when the area may reopen to traffic.

Drivers are asked to seek alternate routes. Emergency crews remain at the scene.
