SAN ANTONIO – The owners of 2M Smokehouse are celebrating a national honor after the TV show “Pitmasters” crowned Grecia and Esaul Ramos winners.
The win is bringing new attention to the San Antonio barbecue restaurant, located near South W.W. White Road and East Southcross.
The business has also been getting support on social media after the national recognition.
For the Ramos family, barbecue started as a hobby.
It has since grown into their full-time work and a well-known local business.
KSAT’s “Texas Eats” visited 2M Smokehouse in 2023, when host David Elder highlighted several menu favorites. Pork ribs were a hit during the visit, and Elder described the brisket as “the ultimate brisket.”
The smokehouse is also known for offering gourmet desserts, including tres leches and cheesecakes, along with its barbecue menu.
In addition to serving customers at the restaurant, 2M Smokehouse offers catering.
