Northbound SR 99 tunnel reopens after rollover crash

The northbound State Route 99 tunnel in Seattle was blocked after a crash in the northbound lanes on Friday morning.

All lanes have since reopened. The southbound lanes were also closed briefly.

A Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) camera showed the crash, which happened around 9:30 a.m., was at the south end of the northbound tunnel.

The Seattle Police Department said a driver flipped their Prius.

As of 9:50 a.m., police and an ambulance were at the scene.

By 10 a.m., traffic backed up in the tunnel was getting through in one lane.
