A new monthly initiative to help connect Sheboygan area residents with essential community services, employment opportunities, shopping, clinics, and other important destinations debuts this Wednesday, October 21st.
“Bus & Beyond Community Day” will happen on the third Wednesday of each month, giving individuals no-cost access to transportation on any fixed route, at any time, to any destination on those days. Shoreline Metro Director Derek Muench said the program is intended to be a feel-good, community-focused program that expands access, strengthens partnerships, and promotes the value of public transit while helping to remove transportation barriers for those needing to reach services.
