Rochester, N.Y. — The Strathallan Hotel and Spa is now part of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection.
Representatives say the rebranding is a better fit for the area.
“We were originally just Strathallan; We were not branded,” general manager Jay Rettberg said. “Then we became a DoubleTree which is a wonderful, wonderful Hilton brand, but it’s more family oriented.”
“This Tapestry is a lifestyle brand,” Rettberg continued. “It fits in with the ninth floor lounge, the steakhouse, the upscale furnishings and the neighborhood.”
