There’s no place like 1920s Paris for the holidays. This year marks the first holiday season for Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic is decorated in celebration.
Daytime Photos

After passing under the Phoenix Arch entering into The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, guests arrive at Place Cachée, an area lined with shops, restaurants, and other facades. Most of the windows and doorways have been decorated with themed garlands and wreaths.

One of the facades where interactive wand experiences can be found has golden wreaths with serpents twisted around.

The exterior of Cafe L’air de la Sirène has also received lighted garland across the archway and in each of the windows lining the building.

Across the way, K. Rammelle, the sweets shop has also been decorated.

Garland with lights and pink ribbons have been added above the windows. Large snowflakes also span across the window panes. The garland across the display windows have white details with demiguise medallions.

Back at Bar Moonshine, garland has bee added above the giant “BAR” letters above the main awning. Lights illuminate the drink glasses that sit in front of the windows above the main entrance.

More themed details have been aded to other facades in the area. For instance, large bows made of written music top a music store facade.

Lighted garland tops storefronts and windows.

A storefront facade for Mademoiselle Malkin’s has also been decorated with garland and lights.

The exterior of Cosme Acajor Baguettes Magique, the French wand shop is also lined with lighted garland.

The interior of the store is also decorated with lighted garland around the balcony railing and stairs. The sconces have bows and baubles.

We were also able to grab some photos as the sun went down over The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. The lights and garland on the show building for Le Cirque Arcanus stand out against the sunset sky.

Les Galeries Mirifiques, a fashionable department store where visitors will find uniforms from international wizarding schools, a variety of wizarding gear, memorabilia, more shines bright with loads of garland and lights.

Inside the shop, a tree with white and gold baubles and decor has been situated near a display table.

Matching garland lines the shelves.

Around the side of the Les Galeries Mirifiques facade is a hotel “entrance.” Garland and a lighted tree have been added.

The entrance to Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry has also been lined with lighted garland. The coloring is green to match the green light and smoke of the Floo Network.

Next door, the entrance to Tour en Floo, the rides exit gift shop has also been adorned with a triangular shaped draped garland.

Paper-like tree shapes decorate the windows atop the Tour en Floo entrance.

Garland with dark green ribbon and gold baubles has been added above the cash wrap area.

Other wreaths with gold baubles have Time Turners at the center of green bows.

As the sun set further, we noticed even more greenery, garland, and lights on the streets of Place Cachée.

Wreaths and other decor add to the theming of storefronts as shown above.

Themed garland line windows containing interactive wand experiences.

We also got a better look at Cafe L’air de la Sirène after the sun went down. Wreaths adorn the red columns.

Inside, lighted trees and themed garland add to dark wood and white marble decor of the interior.
Celestial Park is also decorated.
