A new Disneyland After Dark event themed to the 70th anniversary will bring classic offerings back to the park via dance parties, photo ops, and character meet and greets. The theme is 70 Years of Favorites, designed to “take you on a sentimental journey commemorating seven decades of unforgettable moments at the beloved theme park.”

The event will be on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 and Thursday, March 5, 2026.
70 Years of Favorites Entertainment
Swing dancing will be available at the Royal Theatre in Fantasyland. There used to be dancing events in this area, dating back to its days as Carnation Gardens Plaza.
Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace will throwback to the ’80s in reference to the former dance club. The real Videopolis ultimately became Fantasyland Theater, which remains to this day. The dance party during Disneyland After Dark will feature a live DJ, ’80s music, and retro décor.
Guests can join line dancing at The Golden Horseshoe in tribute to the extinct Woody’s Roundup show from the late ’90s and early 2000s.
Sentimental photo opportunities throughout Disneyland will be inspired by old offerings like Mad T Party, Main Street Electrical Parade, Club Buzz, and favorite attractions.
Character meet and greets will include “Long Lost Friends” from Disney Afternoon, Mother and Father from Carousel of Progress, Merlin from The Sword in the Stone, Flik and Atta from A Bug’s Life, and the Fantasmic! Monkeys.

Themed food and beverage pays homage to to old Disneyland kitchens and dishes. Menu items will include:

A Magic Key pre-sale will open on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT) to Inspire Key holders, who may purchase from a select number of pre-sale tickets for Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites on Disneyland.com. Then on Wednesday, December 10 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT), all Magic Key holders will have the opportunity to purchase from a select amount of pre-sale tickets.
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, December 11, 2025 (no earlier than 9 a.m. PT). Tickets are limited and subject to availability.
