A soap star turned ordained minister who once served as Andy Warhol’s canvas made a rare outing in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
This Hollywood legend starred in the Dallas, Peyton Place, and Passions, in addition to work in classic TV shows including Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, Beverly Hills, 90210.
Her career kicked off in the 60s and she remains active to this day, recently starring in last year’s thriller Guns & Moses.
She’s also romanced numerous famous faces, including former Fleetwood Mac member Dave Mason and her Peyton Place co-star Ryan O’Neal.
The ladder ended in marriage, and they welcomed a son together – however the romance wasn’t meant to be.

A soap star turned ordained minister (who even once rubbed elbows with Andy Warhol) made a rare outing in Los Angeles on Tuesday
It’s Leigh Taylor-Young!
Soap star Taylor-Young was spotted in Los Angeles on Tuesday looking oh-so stylish with a bold red lip and blue scarf tied around her neck.
She strode across a parking lot beside a friend, brandishing a notepad and flashing a smile.
The red-haired star donned a pretty floral top, khaki trousers, and mustard yellow sneakers.
Taylor-Young has an impressive laundry list of roles under her belt, including long-time stints in Peyton Place, Dallas, and Passions.
She portrayed Rachel Welles on Peyton Place, the show that not only earned her an Emmy but would lead her to her first husband, Ryan O’Neal.
The duo were co-stars and Taylor-Young quickly became pregnant with their first child together, a son named Patrick, who later became an actor and a sportcaster.
‘I had my first love affair, with Ryan, and had become a major television star where my anonymity and privacy had gone forever,’ she recalled on her website. ‘I had married a very volatile and temperamental man who didn’t seem prone to fidelity.’

Their wedding was spur of the moment: While in Hawaii for a promotional event for the show an ABC manager suggested they marry at his home.
The couple divorced in 1971.
‘I adored Ryan,’ she wrote on her website. ‘Actually, it was more of an infatuation, as I had married someone quickly who I barely know as a person. We rented a beautiful house in Benedict Canyon that had been the home of Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall. It was the perfect place to have an enchanted pregnancy.’
Her dating history also includes Fleetwood Mac member Dave Mason.
In a 1994 profile with the Chicago Tribute, she described herself as ‘very happily together with Dave Mason of Fleetwood Mac.’

Taylor-Young walked down the aisle four more times after her marriage with O’Neal ended.
She has been married to writer John Morton since in 2013.
Another high-profile individual to enter Leigh-Taylor’s orbit was none other than legendary pop artist Andy Warhol.
The two met at the premiere of her 1968 film I Love You Alice B. Toklas, where Warhol was inspired to paint a butterfly on Taylor-Young’s own leg.

Leigh also appeared in the show Hart To Hart
‘He suggested that he paint a butterfly on my thigh for the photographers,’ she recalled. ‘Everyone loved it, as the photographers flashed away. It was a truly “Sixties” moment with Andy Warhol, and the film epitome of the Sixties flowerchild.’
Her friendship with Warhol continued a few years later.
She wrote: ‘Several years later, while making The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight, I would begin to “hang out” with Andy, his entourage, and especially with Gerard Malanga, a poet who was always by Andy’s side.’
Outside of acting, Taylor-Young was called to a higher power.
She is an ordained minister of the Church of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, an organization for which her husband serves as spiritual director.
