After the OnePlus 15, the Chinese smartphone maker is now gearing up to introduce its next-gen flagship killer device, the OnePlus 15R. If the reports are believed to be true, the OnePlus 15R will be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 6, which has already made its China debut. OnePlus 15 vs OnePlus 15R specifications (Expected)
The OnePlus 15 is equipped with a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate, while the upcoming OnePlus 15R is expected to feature a slightly larger 6.83-inch screen capable of reaching up to 5,000 nits of brightness. The OnePlus 15 runs on Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, whereas the 15R may use the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both devices are expected to offer similar RAM and storage configurations, starting at 12GB + 256GB and going up to 1TB in higher-end variants.
Battery capacity is likely to differ, with the OnePlus 15R tipped to include a 7,800mAh unit compared to the OnePlus 15’s 7,300mAh battery. Both models are expected to support 120W fast charging, though only the OnePlus 15 may offer 50W wireless charging. On the software front, both devices are anticipated to ship with OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.
In terms of durability, both smartphones are expected to feature multiple IP certifications, including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. The camera setup marks a clearer distinction between the two models. The OnePlus 15 features a triple 50MP rear camera system with a dedicated telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom. The OnePlus 15R, meanwhile, is expected to offer a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Both models are likely to include a 32MP front camera.

The OnePlus 15 has already been introduced in India as a premium flagship, starting at Rs 72,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. In contrast, the OnePlus 15R is expected to be priced between Rs 45,999 and Rs 49,999. However, the exact pricing remains under wraps.

As per the reports, the OnePlus 15R could launch in India in mid-December. The company is yet to announce the launch date, but has confirmed to the fans that the device will launch soon.
