Sacramento police are investigating after a man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday night.Officers responded to the report of a pedestrian struck around 9:15 p.m. at the intersection of Fruitridge and Power Inn roads. KCRA 3 was at the scene and saw the roadway blocked by police cruisers and officers appeared to be conducting a field sobriety test. Sacramento police said the man died at the scene.Officials said the driver stayed at the scene. Sacramento police said Power Inn Road was shut down between Fruitridge Road and Hickory Avenue.
