The Peachtree Group announced the opening of a Tru by Hilton hotel in Huntsville on Wednesday.
The 98-room hotel is at 7206 Cabela Drive NW. According to the Peachtree Group, the hotel has a modern, efficient design with open social spaces, complimentary breakfast, a 24/7 market, a fitness center and lounge areas that reflect the Tru by Hilton brand’s focus on comfort and connectivity.
The Hilton website also lists Tru by Hilton hotels as pet friendly. Rooms feature mobile desks, plenty of spaces to charge devices and large, bright bathrooms.
The Tru by Hilton hotel is the sixth property the firm completed and opened this year. Peachtree’s hospitality management division will operate the hotel. The Tru by Hilton is the company’s only hotel in Huntsville but operates three other hotels in Alabama.

Peachtree said the hotel is strategically located near Boeing, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Huntsville campus and other parts of Redstone Arsenal, as well as contractors Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman. The hotel was constructed in an Opportunity Zone.

Opportunity Zones were created as part of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, which designated low-income census tracts as QOZs. Peachtree has supported the program since its inception, strategically allocating capital to spur economic development and advance its goal of revitalizing underserved communities, the company said.
