Google will introduce Nano Banana Pro for Gemini as a creative upgrade aimed at designers, marketers, educators, and product teams. The feature set centers on layout control, including up to 4K image resolution and aspect ratios from 16:9 to 9:16, so outputs can be sized for social posts, print, and presentations. Access will be through the Gemini app by selecting the Thinking model.

It is expected to arrive at Gemini and other Google products like Whisk and Google Vids, and is potentially planned to be released this week.

Advanced Text Rendering raises fidelity for lettering and spelling across all Gemini app-supported languages. This supports posters, menus, invites, comic panels, and data-dense infographics. Concept workflows are included: upload a 2D sketch and prompt Gemini to render a high-fidelity, photorealistic 3D-style product image for material and lighting exploration.

Editing and composition expand to six simultaneous image uploads for scene blending and element transfer. Style Transfer applies the palette or look of a reference image to another photo. On-canvas guidance lets you doodle, circle, or annotate directly on an upload so Gemini can follow visual instructions. “Your photos explained” turns shots of landmarks or cities into concise visual explainers.

Why it matters: compared with the earlier Nano Banana release, Pro adds multi-image composition, reliable typography, and aspect ratio control in a single workflow, reducing tool switching and aligning outputs with channel requirements.
Prompt 1: A professional studio product shot of a futuristic, transparent smart-watch resting on a piece of dark slate. The watch interface is glowing holographic green. Soft dramatic lighting, 8k resolution, macro photography style, shallow depth of field. —ar 4:3 Prompt 2: A sophisticated, minimalist logo centered on a white background. The word “FRESH” is spelled out using realistic, glistening slices of kiwi and strawberry. High contrast, sharp focus, professional food photography style. —ar 1:1 Prompt 3: A vintage travel poster for “MARS COLONY.” The main visual is a retro-futuristic biodome on a red landscape. Large, bold Art Deco typography at the top says “VISIT MARS,” and smaller text at the bottom says “The Red Planet Awaits You – Est. 2050.” Texture of worn paper. —ar 2:3 Prompt 4: A high-resolution, professional infographic map of Europe. The map should be topographical, showing mountain ranges in relief. Clear, sharp text labels should identify major capitals: “Paris”, “Berlin”, “Rome”, “Madrid”, and “Warsaw”. The ocean should be a deep matte blue, and the land should be in natural earth tones. Clean, modern typography suitable for a textbook. —ar 4:3 Credits @MarsEverythingTech
Under the hood, Nano Banana Pro will be a part of Google’s Gemini platform, which unifies text and image generation under the Thinking model on web and mobile. By shipping these controls in the core Gemini app rather than a separate tool, Google positions Gemini as a daily workspace for planning, marketing, prototyping, and lessons once the rollout begins.
P.S. All samples are resized for better performance 👀
