We will also be looking out for deals on Nintendo Switch related gear. This is likely to be games and accessories, and probably won’t be massive discounts on consoles. But we can hope!
As with yesterday, we will be looking for deals on creative tech like laptops, drawing tablets, 3D printers, headphones and even office chars and coffee machines. Plus we will be hunting for art supplies today.
Good morning deals hunters and welcome to official Amazon Black Friday. In case you missed it, the sale runs until December 1 so you have some time to pick up creative deals. I’m going to check all the deals we have here and add some more – and I’ll be back soon.
Other retailers will be starting and/or have started their sales already, and it is often true that the best offers aren’t on Amazon. So make sure you look at our other posts on Black Friday deals, such as our MacBook or iPad hubs or our Cricut deals roundup.
We’ve been doing this for a long time. So you know you’re in safe hands with our recommendations. We know when Amazon have inflated prices, and we know when a product has been cheaper elsewhere. And that’s why you need us rather than going straight to the retailer.
Of course the official sale kicks off at midnight so we will be reviewing all this advice on the morning. However we have tried to only recommend deals we don’t think are going to be beaten over the next week, so you can shop with confidence.
I’m a long-time Windows PC user (dating allllllllll the way back to the ’90s), but I can appreciate a good Apple product when I see one. But of the many hits they’ve had in the last few decades, none, in my mind, will ever surpass the humble but magnificent Mac mini. It’s just the perfect mini-PC, allowing you to do all the essentials you want to do on a Mac, and for pretty much a bargain price too (at least for an Apple product). And when you get a discount on top? That’s a no-brainer, friendo. The entry-level, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD-equipped model, isn’t the most powerful, but it covers all the essentials and then some, now for a good £75 off. With the M4 chip too, down to £524.98 from £599.99. Yes please.
Hi, this is Tech Reviews Editor Erlingur checking in. I have another cheeky non-Amazon dip on a phone I actually use myself every day: the Xiaomi 15T Pro. I reviewed it recently, and I feel compelled to share with you that with just a couple of clicks (and signing up to a free Xiaomi account), you can knock £200 off the price of this beast of a phone.
Normally £699, by applying a couple of Black Friday coupons that work in conjunction, it can now be had for only £499 on the official UK Mi website (see photo evidence below). It’s a near-flagship, now for under £500. That’s a good deal.
No, I don’t mean the drawing tablets, laptops or monitors that we all use… I mean the seat that you sit in all day. I’ve been covering ergonomic chairs – specifically the best office chairs for back pain – for around 6 years now, and some of my favourites are selling at a discount on Amazon.
If you are looking for an ergonomic chair, then our resident chair expert gave this a rare perfect score in the Branch chair review.
I scoured our best monitors for graphic artists guide to find the models on sale already, and I found two excellent options. See them below:
We’re normally running a Nintendo Switch blog during these sales events but I’m not holding out high hopes for excellent Switch deals this year. Except the rumour that Nintendo is about to scale down its Switch focus in favour of Switch 2, which might mean disocunts on the original models, there isn’t much to suggest major discounts.
I’m also hoping to stock up on markers, notebooks and more. I’ll add deals in as and when I find them.
And what else are we looking for? Well accessories are always a great shout. Think SSDs, styluses, power banks and more. We will be on the lookout for those as the days (week) goes on!
Drawing tablets are always part of the price slashing on Black Friday, with huge brands like Wacom, Huion and Xencelabs joining the sales. See our best drawing tablets roundup to find out which tablets we’re recommending, then browse the best offers in our drawing tablet Black Friday roundup.
Black Friday is the perfect time to stock up on a bundle of creative goodies, from tech to art supplies. Though we do see similar prices at other times of the year, it is the time that offers are slightly better than other times, and we’ve got pretty good at knowing what and when to buy.
We also love the surge of 3D printing deals around at the moment. Since all the 3D printing brands started their sales at the beginning of this month, we have been covering them for a couple of weeks. But Amazon has a few good ones.
So what is our favourite deal so far? Well, we love this $250 off a MacBook Air with an M4 chip. It’s the newest Air on the block, and we loved it in our review.
You can find out which MacBook you should buy over on our MacBook Pro vs MacBook Air post. But in short, if you have a medium creative workflow, and aren’t spending tons of power on 3D modelling or heavy video editing, the Air is probably a good choice for you. Plus it’s ultra-portable, which is a big bonus for a busy creative in the modern day.
And we’re off! Welcome to Creative Bloq’s Amazon Black Friday live blog. I’ll be honest, it’s been a while since we’ve focused entirely on Amazon offers on Black Friday. But since the best offers are usually at the retail giant, it makes sense to scour the site for creative kit and deliver it straight to you.
