Nominations have been announced for this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
Lady Gaga is leading the charge with 12 nominations, scoring most of them for her song Abracadabra and her collaboration with Bruno Mars, Die With A Smile.
Bruno follows Gaga with 11 nominations, while Kendrick Lamar has 10.

Those three will be vying for the Artist of the Year award, alongside Bad Bunny, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, the Weeknd and Morgan Wallen.
Our only representation in the main categories is Blackpink’s Rose, the quasi-Aussie scoring a Song of the Year nomination and Video of the Year nomination for her hit APT. with Bruno Mars.
The MTV Video Music Awards happen at UBS Arena on Long Island in New York on September 8.
And hot off his Best Actor Oscar win for The Whale, Brendan Fraser is back portraying a struggling actor in Tokyo who gets hired to play various stand in roles for families.
It is an interesting concept.
