The College Football Playoff’s selection committee unveiled its third set of rankings for the 2025 season during a live show on Tuesday night.

Indiana, ranked No. 2 in both the AP and Coaches’ top-25 polls, remained at No. 2 for the third straight week. The Hoosiers are coming off of a strong 31-7 home win over Wisconsin, the program’s last home game of the regular season.

Indiana holds a win over fellow ranked teams No. 7 Oregon and No. 21 Illinois. Iowa was ranked last week, but fell after losses to the Ducks and No. 15 USC. Other ranked Big Ten teams include and No. 18 Michigan and No. Ohio State.

The Hoosiers have started 11-0 for the first time in program history, finishing 11-1 in their breakout 2024 season that included a bid in the first iteration of the playoff’s 12-team format. It was the first season for head coach Curt Cignetti, who has since received a new 8-year contract.

Indiana currently sits at +500 to win the 2025 national championship and +200 odds to make the title game per FanDuel Sportsbook, longer odds than last week. As a de facto lock, the Hoosiers don’t have odds to make the playoff listed.

Indiana is on a bye this week before heading north next weekend to take on rival Purdue at Ross-Ade Stadium in West Lafayette.
