Interstate 80 traffic is closed due to multiple vehicles spun out over Donner Summit, prompting officials to hold and turn back drivers on both sides of the mountain.
Eastbound traffic is being held at Alta because of the spinouts. Westbound traffic is also being held at the Nevada state line and in Truckee.
