Kim Kardashian’s latest acting project All’s Fair has been the subject of some objectively brutal reviews — but the reality TV star isn’t allowing the critics to get her down.
“Kim is so happy with how much the fans love the show and it’s still No. 1 on Hulu [for the] third day,” a source close to the mogul exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, November 7, of the actress’ reaction to negative reviews for Hulu’s All’s Fair.
“She has joked that this is actually getting more people to watch it,” the insider continued. “She’s incredibly driven and knows one project doesn’t define her.”
Kardashian, 45, stars in famed American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy’s latest series, All’s Fair, alongside Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, Niecy Nash, Teyana Taylor and the legendary Glenn Close. The Hulu series follows a team of female divorce lawyers as they open up their own practice in Los Angeles.
After the debut of the first three episodes on Tuesday, November 4, the series received multiple zero-star reviews from various publications.
The Guardian’s Lucy Mangan wrote that she “did not know that it was still possible to make television this bad,” while The Times’ Ben Dowell claimed that the series “may be the worst TV drama ever.”
Other critics, like The Hollywood Reporter’s Angie Han, honed in on Kardashian’s acting prowess specifically.
“Her very presence, which succeeds at generating buzz and not much else, feels fitting for a show that seems to want not to be watched as much as mined for viral bits and pieces,” she wrote, adding that the writing in the show is “stiff and affectless without a single authentic note.”
Kardashian poked fun at the less-than-stellar reviews on Thursday, November 6, going so far as to highlight some of them via various screenshots.

“Have you turned into the most critically acclaimed show of the year!?!?!? All’s Fair streaming now on @hulu and @disneyplus,” the SKIMS founder joked via Instagram at the time, sprinkling screenshots of fan reactions and critic posts among photos of her fellow castmates and Murphy.
One screenshot featured a tweet highlighting that the series debuts with an almost unheard of zero percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes. “Immediately pressed play,” a fan wrote while reposting.
Another fan posted that the new series is “some of the worst” TV they had “ever seen in my life, along with the most predictable storylines and the most ridiculous styling,” before adding, “I’m obsessed, I need 14 seasons.”
A third fan called the show “Scream Queens but for wine moms and millennial gays” in response to one negative review from The Hollywood Reporter, while a fourth user declared that All’s Fair is “actually so good.”
Kardashian also included a screenshot of a quote from a BBC News review that called Murphy, 59, “the high priest of tacky, tasteless television,” adding that “this year, he has outdone himself.”
While the reviews have been far from kind, Anthony Hemingway — who served as an executive producer on the series in addition to directing four episodes — defended the Hulu show.
“You’re not going to please everybody,” Hemingway told The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday, November 5. “You may have certain criticisms, while there are a million others who love it. I think the show holds a mirror up to each person who watches it. It’s just about: Can you connect to it or relate to it, and see yourself? It may be out of your league, it may not be anything you can connect to, and I think that goes for anything that gets presented on screen.”
