Aboard the Disney Destiny, the comedy is Marvel-ous. One of the highlight offerings of Disney’s latest cruise ship is “With Great Power: A Marvel Comedy Show”, which is presented solely for those guests 18+ in the multi-level Saga lounge.
If you would like the enjoy the full show, you can watch it below. Of course, viewer discretion is advised…
This article below contains show spoilers.

The show opens in Elixir Hall with singing host Violet Fox. She emerges in an emerald green, 1920s ensemble singing “Mr. Blue Sky.” After her song winds down, she introduces the Disney Destiny storytellers Zayah and Gamble.

The duo emerges, ready to share Marvel-related stories they’ve collected on their travels. With a soundtrack of epic Marvel music, they unfurl The Scroll of Virtues, which is referenced throughout the performance. The scroll lists essential virtues that are at the heart of each story as it unfolds: integrity, intelligence, friendship, courage, determination, sacrifice, and persistence.
Whenever the scroll is mentioned, the audience is invited to erupt in a chorus of amazement in a sing-songy “ahhhh.” And throughout the show, nearly all the characters are played by the storytellers.

From there, Zayah and Gamble begin their tour of stories of beloved Marvel characters, beginning with Captain America in Europe circa 1942. After that, they bring audiences to the set of a fake infomercial segment entitled “Inventions with Tony.” Tony Stark is locked away in a cave, so audiences watch as the “bad guys” look through his inventions.
From Earth we take to the skies. The storytellers bring us into space to spend time with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Next, the show takes us to an ice cream parlor that resembles Baskin-Robbins to hear the story of Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man.

As they bring audiences into the world of Thor: Ragnarok, the storytellers bring the story to life with puppets, starting with the Grandmaster himself. Following that, Doctor Strange emerges, followed by Spider-Man.
It’s at this point that an unexpected character comes forth, not played by either of the storytellers.

The raucous antihero Deadpool appears on a screen behind the storytellers, ready to kick their show up a notch. Full of sassy Disney vacation jokes, he tells the duo that he has prepared special sock puppets to end the show with “a good scene.” Of course, Deadpool’s idea of a good scene is sock puppets of himself and Wolverine riding in a car.

To close out the show, Elixir Hall host Violet Fox comes back to sing a rendition of “Like a Prayer” while Deadpool dances his heart out behind her.
