It was a daily talking point back in the noughties and now Britney Spears’ saga with ex-hubby Kevin Federline has reared its head again.
This follows damning allegations made by K-Fed in his new memoir, You Thought You Knew, claiming Britney was drinking alcohol and taking illicit substances during and after her pregnancies with their two children.
Britney has defended herself online, saying “the constant gaslighting from (my) ex-husband is extremely hurtful”, adding the white lies in the book are “going straight to the bank” and she is the only one who will be genuinely hurt by the claims.
Spears and Federline were married for three tumultuous years before divorcing in 2007 – very unpleasant stuff.

Richard Gere has also paid tribute after the pair starred in many movies, including Looking For Mr Goodbar.
Recalling the film’s many difficulties, he said that they took care of each other getting through these challenging scenes.
He followed by calling her “completely original”, remembering how sweet, gentle and real she was.
Lovely, lovely tributes.
