Dozens of supporters were on hand at the celebratory event, which was a collaborative effort, co-presented by arts organization Wide Open Walls and local firm Eco-Alpha. Eco-Alpha’s headquarters serves as the site for the beautiful rendering. The striking piece was designed and painted by featured muralist Mammxth, whose work now stands as a landmark at the building at 318 12th St.

Goines has defined her career by strengthening the economic foundation for African American entrepreneurs. Under her nearly 20 years of leadership, the Black Chamber has achieved significant milestones, including securing a historic headquarters building, reinforcing her role as a vital champion for Sacramento’s diverse economy.
