CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The 4200 block of Highway 58 and Bonny Oaks Drive will see a complete closure beginning tomorrow, Nov. 4th, 2026.
The City of Chattanooga Department of Public Works and TDOT say the closure is for the Norfolk Southern Railroad bridge trestle and right-of-way maintenance.
The closure and detours will last from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. on these days:
- Wednesday, Nov. 4.
- Thursday, Nov. 5.
- Monday, Nov. 9.
- Tuesday, Nov. 10.
- Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Chattanooga Public Works and TDOT have designated two official detour routes.
Highway 58 and Bonny Oaks Drive schedule Nov. closure and detours for bridge repair
The Primary Truck Route, recommended for semi-trucks and vehicles with 3 or more axles, follows Bonny Oaks to Lightfoot Mill Road to New York Ave to Campbell Street (HWY 58).
The Secondary Detour Route follows Bonny Oaks (HWY 58) to S Access Road to Randolph Circle to Harrison Pike to Denham Road to Addison Road to Bonny Oaks (HWY 58).
