Meghan Markle has taken to social media to express her admiration for Prince Harry‘s most viral moment during his four-day visit to the UK.
The Duke of Sussex has been in the UK since Monday, engaging in a series of activities related to his charities and patronages. On Monday, Harry attended the WellChild awards in London, an event that honors the achievements of seriously ill children who continue to thrive despite their life-threatening conditions.
The Duke became an internet sensation when he was spotted having a balloon sword fight with nine-year-old Gwen Foster, the Inspirational Child aged 7-11 winner, who was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus, after she challenged him to a duel with toys made by a balloon sculptor. It comes after ‘disturbed’ Prince William got angry with Meghan Markle over the missing Princess Diana diamonds.
Meghan posted a video of the heartwarming moment on her Instagram stories, expressing her affection for her husband. The Duchess added two pink heart emojis to the video, which was originally shared on Hello magazine’s TikTok account.
It seems that people were also charmed by Prince Harry’s natural ease, with one user commenting: “He is his Mothers son.”, reports the Express.
Another user remarked: “Harry has the Diana touch.”
A third user chimed in: “Harry is so easy to love.”
A fourth user commented: “The Prince of hearts. Prince Harry is amazing.”
On Tuesday, Harry traveled to Nottingham where he announced a $1.1 million donation to BBC Children in Need, which came from his personal funds rather than his Archewell Foundation.
The Duke praised his donation to aid young individuals impacted by youth violence as an “investment in futures” and called on others to take action.
In a speech to the attendees, he said: “This isn’t just charity, it’s an investment. An investment in futures, in hope, in keeping young people safe. But I know my contribution alone is not enough.
