A sign the holiday season is getting underway, Winterfest is returning at Kings Island later this month.Winterfest returns the day after Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s Eve.The festival features a spectacular tree lighting on its Eiffel Tower, 13 live shows, ice skating on Snow Flake Lake, specialty photo ops with characters, cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus and more.As always, the park will have a selection of rides and attractions open to park-goers, including Snoopy’s™ Soap Box Racers, Grand Carousel and the K.I. & Miami Valley Railroad, plus the high-thrill Mystic Timbers, The Racer and Flight of Fear with its holiday overlay, Flight of Cheer.“This is a very special time of year for our guests and it’s a great chance to connect with friends and loved ones from near or far,” said Tony Carovillano, park manager of Kings Island. “Each holiday season, our team takes so much pride in creating an atmosphere that warms your heart.
