It was a big night in Sydney with the highly anticipated premiere of the second half of the epic film adaptation of the musical extravaganza, Wicked: For Good.
Hoyts at the Entertainment Quarter, channelled pink and green opulence as it transformed into the wonderful city of Oz.
The premiere was a huge production and it’s an incredible movie as well, in cinemas next Thursday with special screenings of the first movie happening over this weekend, so you can get up to speed with it all.

Speaking of the beautiful witches of Oz, Ariana Grande faced a scary moment when she was accosted by an overenthusiastic fan on the yellow carpet in Singapore.
The overly zealous fan, an Australian apparently, jumped the security barriers to get up close and personal, with intense phone footage showing Ariana’s co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Michelle Yeoh jumping in to protect her.
I wouldn’t mess with Cynthia and those fingernails, man – a very scary experience for Ariana, who is certainly very Popular, you could say.

And Melbourne has been Thunderstruck, of course, with AC/DC really shaking the city all night long.
So much so that the activity was picked up by earthquake detection equipment.
The low-frequency recordings, combined with vibrations from the speakers, the movement could be felt three kilometres away from the concert.
The music legends have kicked off the Australian leg of their worldwide Power Up tour and playing again at the G on Sunday night.
