Tyler Thrasher is a local artist behind the Moonbeam Conservatory and Sami Cooper is the owner of Big Dipper Creamery.
“The ice cream is fluorescent; it will react under black light and then we have our UV flood lights on right now so you can see all the flowers, all 12,000 phosphorus and fluoresce, with the glowing ice cream,” said Tyler Thrasher.
Sami said she’s a fan of Tyler’s work and she wanted to make UV ice cream inspired by it and that’s how the collaboration was born.
