Nei Native by Nitya Ganapathy
At Nei Native, the A2 Desi Bilona Ghee is more than a superfood, it is the heart of the brand. Made using the traditional Bilona method, it carries the nutty aroma, rich texture, and purity reminiscent of home. What began with ghee has now grown into a thoughtful range of superfoods, condiments, and skincare, where ghee becomes the hero ingredient nourishing the skin the same way it nourishes the body, and making everyday wellness more natural, holistic, and rooted in tradition.
After 23 years in Mumbai’s media industry, Nitya Ganapathy took a leap of faith in 2021, inspired by her ancestral recipe and the fading art of Bilona ghee-making. What started as a homegrown idea now produces more than 2,500 jars a month, celebrating heritage, craft, and conscious living. Nei Native is Nitya’s tribute to culture and care, bringing the warmth of home and the wisdom of tradition to modern lifestyles.
Cosmix by Vibha Harish
Vibha Harish, co-founder of the Bengaluru-based wellness brand Cosmix, launched her venture in 2019 after recognizing the quick-fix culture dominating the wellness space. Inspired by her mother’s homeopathy background and her own research in plant-based nutrition, she and her husband Soorya Jagadish built Cosmix to offer clean, transparent, root-cause-focused supplements made from superfoods and adaptogens.
Cosmix promotes holistic health with blends supporting digestion, immunity, hormones, sleep, and skin, while consciously rejecting marketing that fuels insecurity. From an online startup, the brand has grown into a key player in India’s wellness market, earning Vibha a spot on the Forbes Asia 30 Under 30 list and attracting investment offers on Shark Tank India.
Kapiva by Ameve Sharma & Shrey Badhani
Kapiva was founded in 2016 by Ameve Sharma and Shrey Badhani with the goal of modernizing Ayurveda and making it relevant to contemporary lifestyles. As part of the third generation of the renowned Baidyanath Ayurvedic family, Ameve sought to bridge ancient wisdom with modern wellness needs. Partnering with Shrey, a former Bain & Company consultant, he created a brand offering authentic, science-backed Ayurvedic nutrition in convenient formats.
The founders initially experimented with Ayurvedic clinics but soon saw greater potential in functional foods and beverages such as herbal juices, cold-pressed oils, pure honey, and A2 ghee made from responsibly sourced ingredients. Kapiva’s philosophy, “Everyday Ayurveda,” encourages people to balance their health naturally without complex routines. Combining traditional formulations with modern production standards, the brand ensures purity and efficacy for instance, processing aloe vera within hours of harvest to retain nutrients.
With its direct-to-consumer and omnichannel strategy, Kapiva has become one of India’s leading modern Ayurveda brands, earning both consumer trust and strong investor support.
Be Bodywise by Revant Bhate & Dhyanesh Shah
Mosaic Wellness, founded in early 2020 by Revant Bhate and Dhyanesh Shah, began with the vision of delivering consumer-first, digital-first wellness solutions for modern India. The company focuses on often-overlooked aspects of personal health, including hormonal balance, skin and hair wellness, and intimate care.
Be Bodywise, one of its flagship ventures launched in May 2021 is dedicated exclusively to women’s wellness. The brand integrates tele-consultations, educational content, community support, and clinically tested products to address concerns such as PCOS, hair loss, acne, and menstrual health. Be Bodywise was created to move beyond superficial fixes, offering root-cause-driven, holistic solutions.
By combining digital health guidance with science-backed formulations, the founders have built a platform that empowers women to take charge of their wellbeing in an informed, inclusive, and sustainable way.
Traya by Saloni Anand
Saloni Anand, co-founder of Traya Health, launched the brand in 2019 with her husband, Altaf Saiyed, after personally experiencing hair loss and realizing how limited existing cosmetic solutions were. Their journey led them to uncover deeper root-cause factors behind hair fall—including lifestyle, hormonal, and nutritional imbalances.
With Saloni’s background in engineering and business and Altaf’s startup experience, the duo created Traya as a platform that blends Ayurveda, dermatology, and nutrition to offer holistic, science-backed hair treatments. After extensive research and trials, Traya officially launched in 2020 with the mission to change how people approach hair health in India.
Traya treats hair fall as a health condition rather than a surface-level issue. Its personalized, digital-first model begins with an online hair and health diagnostic test to identify underlying causes. Treatment plans include customized kits combining Ayurvedic herbs, dermatological formulations, and nutritional supplements tailored to the individual.
Since inception, Traya has served over a million customers, built a loyal community, and attracted strong investor interest including a ₹75 crore funding round from Xponentia Capital in 2024. With its root-cause-driven philosophy, Traya continues to redefine India’s hair and wellness industry.
