MICHIGAN (WSBT) — You may want to plan extra time if you are traveling on U.S.12 between Christiana Creek near Edwardsburg and Niles.
Construction of left turn lanes will disrupt traffic on U.S. 12 beginning on Monday April 20, 2026.

The Michigan Department of Transportation is adding left turn lanes at Beebe Road and Adamsville Road.

MDOT says the intersection will have single lane closures with traffic regulators.
The goal is to improve safety and traffic flow at those two intersections with a cost of approximately $722,000.
The construction is planned to be finished in early June.
