Volleyball All-Conference/All-State Selections 2025: While volleyball is a team sport, Wyoming Coaches have noted several individuals from various teams that have stood out on the court during games.
Coaches from the 4A East, 3A East, 2A East and 1A East met to decide which players were the best on their side of the state, then met with their counter-parts from the West to determine who are the best players in the state for the 2025 season regardless of location.
A total of 16 players from North-Central Wyoming High Schools earned all-conference honors, and 9 of the 16 earned all-state recognition.
The 9 that earned all-state honors are Mesa Hanft and Haylie Patterson of Sheridan, Hannah Clark, Afton Cummins and Leah Phillips of Big Horn, Aubrey Kelty, Lily Maslowski and Chaney Reish of Tongue River and Avery Paulson of Buffalo.

Sheridan HS Football: Teams continue their preparations for this coming Friday and Saturday’s state championship games in Laramie.
Sheridan and Campbell County met almost one month ago at Gillette, and the Broncs won that game 28-10, after trailing 10-7 at halftime.

Big Horn HS Football: The 2A State Championship Game is a matchup of undefeated vs. undefeated as Big Horn will take on Mountain View.
The Buffalos are led by quarterback Justus Platts who has thrown for more than 17-hundred yards and 25 touchdowns so far this season.

University of Wyoming Men’s and Women’s Basketball: The Wyoming Cowboys won last night at home vs. Austin Peay State 79-65.
The Pokes got 44 points from the bench, led by Uriyah Rojas who put in 23 to lead all scorers.
Damarion Dennis scored 17 and Gavin Gores contributed with 10 off the bench as well.
The Brown and Gold are next scheduled to play this coming Saturday at home against the University of Portland.
The Wyoming Cowgirls lost in their first road game of the season last night, as they fell at UT-Arlington 64-44.
The 3-ball made a big difference as UW only made 2, compared to 10 for the opposition.
Malene Pedersen led the Cowgirls with 11 points, and Madi Symons added in 10.
Wyoming is next scheduled to play this coming Friday at Santa Clara.
Denver Nuggets Basketball: The Denver Nuggets won last night at Sacramento 122-108.
Nikola Jokic with another double-double…35 points and 15 rebounds.
The Nuggets are back on the court today at the LA Clippers.
Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30pm.
Colorado Avalanche Hockey: The Colorado Avalanche won last night at home vs. Anaheim 4-1.
The Avs are next scheduled to play tomorrow at home vs. Buffalo.
