Xiaomi is reportedly gearing up to launch the most premium member of its upcoming flagship lineup- the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The smartphone will sit above the Xiaomi 17 series, which includes the Xiaomi 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max, launched in China in September 2025. As per reports, the Ultra variant could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, similar to its siblings, but with several hardware and camera upgrades.

Interestingly, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra might skip its usual February-March launch cycle, arriving earlier than expected. For the unversed, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra debuted in February 2025, followed by a global release in March.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is tipped to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. While design details remain under wraps, it’s unclear whether Xiaomi will retain the secondary rear display seen on the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max.
