After all the speculation and scuttlebutt, we have an official announcement as to who will be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show next year.
Jay-Z and his company, ROC Nation, who produce the annual extravaganza, announced it’ll be Latin American rapper Bad Bunny taking over Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, on February 9.
This comes after rumour had it that Adele had bagged the coveted performance slot, with further suggestions that Taylor Swift could use the publicity.

Bad Bunny is no stranger, of course, to the Super Bowl stage, having joined forces with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez back in 2020.
He’ll be terrific, I reckon – he’s one of the most streamed artists in the world, with 77 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
And details of acclaimed English actor Terence Stamp’s final role have been revealed, and yes, he’d been shooting scenes for the sequel to Priscilla, Queen of the Desert months before his death.
Early production began last year, with filmmaker Stephan Elliott saying Stamp wanted to return to his beloved character Bernadette, pretty swiftly, saying “in case he doesn’t make it to the start line”.
Stamp, of course, passed away last month at the age of 87, with production reportedly paused.

Finally, to that iconic yellow family from Springfield.
The Simpsons are heading back to the big screen, 18 years since the first TV animated series received the movie treatment.
Now a sequel film is officially in the works, setting a release date of July 2027.
