Meghan Markle is poised to make a significant solo appearance today at a major conference. The 44 year old Duchess of Sussex will be among the speakers at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women summit in Washington, DC.
She will engage in a conversation with Alyson Shontell, Editor-in-Chief and Chief Content Officer of Fortune Live Media, discussing various business topics. The focus of the discussion is expected to be her As Ever brand, which she launched earlier this year.
The wife of Prince Harry will also delve into the opportunities and challenges she has faced as a business founder, as well as her plans to establish a lasting business empire. The news comes as Meghan Markle drops ‘clear’ hint about next As Ever brand venture.
The duchess is scheduled to be on stage from 12:00pm until 12:20pm ET.
It remains uncertain whether Prince Harry will join her on stage or if he will be in Washington, DC with Meghan, or at home with their children, six year old Prince Archie and four year old Princess Lilibet, in Montecito, reports the Express.
This Washington appearance by Meghan follows the couple’s recent several-day stay in New York City, where they attended various events related to Mental Health Day.
These activities included a gala where Meghan and Harry were honored as Humanitarians of The Year.
While in the Big Apple, the couple also took time to reconnect with friends, including Ed Sheeran and Serena Williams.
Meghan also made a solo visit to her friend Gloria Steinem.
Meghan Markle, sharing a video on Instagram of her time in the Big Apple with Prince Harry, expressed: “Until the next time, NYC – thanks for the memories! (You really know how to charm a gal).”
