This morning we can reveal the entertainment at this year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival.
Top of the bill are Aussie rock icons Icehouse, they’ll be taking over the Elms stage on Derby Day, on Melbourne Cup Day it will be electronic trio Pnau, with Craig David on Crown Oaks Day and DJ Fisher on Champion Stakes day.
That is a fabulous Line-Up.

And last night, Nine hosted its annual upfront presentation with our on-air teams mingling with management and our sales and advertising partners and guests from all over the country to view what’s on the slate for 2026 on Nine, 9Now and Stan.
All of our favourites are returning including The Block, MAFS, Love Island and The Floor.
There is so much sport, never enough, including the Winter Olympics, tennis, footy, rugby, just an incredible line-up.
And there are plenty of new shows to look out for, The Golden Bachelor and in the new year, Shark, which sees six celebrities face the ultimate test of an open water swim with one of the ocean’s deadliest predators.
Plenty of exciting things to come, it was a terrific night and congratulations, one and all.

Meantime, across town under the shade of a Boeing Dreamliner in hangar 96 at terminal three, two iconic brands announced their partnership – Qantas and David Jones, with a runway presentation for the ages.
Business leaders, captains of industry, media heavyweights, celebrities and frequent flyers enjoyed a fabulous show, launching the spring – summer collection.
