Tonight’s forecast indicates an influx of clouds, casting a shadow over the city as the temperature dips to an expected low around 50 degrees. North-northwest winds at about 6 mph will give way to calm after the stroke of midnight, setting the stage for a mostly sunny Saturday with highs gently cresting at 72 degrees.
The fair weather is set to continue through the weekend with Sunday’s projection anticipating a mostly sunny sky once again and a high near 75, paired with light north-northwest wind. While the nighttime might bring partly cloudy skies, the lows will hover comfortably around 53 degrees. The outlook for Monday maintains this pattern of mostly sunny days and partly cloudy nights, with high temperatures nudging a little higher to about 76 degrees.
Veterans Day is forecasted to be mostly sunny, honoring our veterans with a high near 74 degrees, but a slight shift in weather is expected midweek. The NWS notes for Wednesday, “A slight chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 70,” before introducing a chance of showers Wednesday night. As Thursday rolls in, Sacramento residents can expect shower likely, with mostly cloudy skies and a cooler high near 64 degrees.
