Including Technics’s stunning audiophile turntable, gorgeous headphones and Bang & Olufsen’s striking soundbar.
We’re already into November, and the year is in its final stretch … and a lot of new tech and gadgets have already been announced.
Naturally, the product release cycle keeps on keepin’ on, though actually keeping track of every new gadget and hi-fi release is a tall order for even the most dedicated enthusiast.
Catch up below and don’t forget to bookmark for later. This is a rolling list and is routinely updated throughout the year.
ClearaudioClearaudio Mini Toolkit

According to the brand, “each tool has been carefully designed to meet Clearaudio’s exacting engineering standards, helping enthusiasts achieve and maintain the highest possible sound quality from their analogue systems.”

Insta360Insta360 X4 Air
Insta360’s X4 Air is a 360-degree action camera that is essentially a more affordable version of the company’s flagship X5. It’s notably smaller and lighter — in fact, at 165 grams, it’s Insta360’s lightest ever 360-degree action camera. Yet it’s still capable of capturing excellent 360-degree videos (up to 8K at 30 fps). The main trade-offs are its photo-capture capabilities (maxing out at 29-megapixel stills) and battery life, promising up to 88 minutes of runtime.

LeicaLeica SL3 Reporter
Leica’s full-frame, mirrorless SL3 camera has already made quite the impact in the photography world. Praised for its combination of classic craftsmanship with modern technology – especially its 60-megapixel sensor with Triple Resolution Technology – it’s a worthy successor to the beloved SL2. This version takes it to the next level, however, by giving it an exterior that’s far more durable, capable, and tough. The grip is made from Aramid, an extremely robust woven fiber, and the OD green finish is scratch-resistant. This is a camera designed to perform (and survive) just about anywhere.

LeicaLeica M EV1
Leica M EV1 is the company’s first M-mount camera that’s not a rangefinder. Instead, it features a 5.76-million-dot electronic viewfinder, making the camera a lot more familiar and user-friendly for modern photographers who use mirrorless cameras. Aside from the new viewfinder, the M EV1 shares many of the same specs as Leica’s 2023-released M11-P; it features the same processor, a 60-megapixel full-frame sensor, and also lacks the ability to record video.

SamsungSamsung Galaxy XR
Samsung and Google teamed up to create the Galaxy XR, a mixed reality headset that is designed to work similarly to Apple’s Vision Pro, but be significantly lighter and more affordable — in fact, starting at $1800, it’s almost half the price. The headset features 4K micro-OLED screens, a number of high-resolution cameras for face and eye tracking, and runs on the Android XR platform, which was developed by both brands. And, just like the Vision Pro, the headset can be used to navigate the real world (with its integration with Google Maps), watch movies and shows, experience live sporting events from afar, and capture and experience immersive spatial photos and videos.

Apple has refreshed its iPad Pro lineup with its new M5 chip. The upgraded silicon promises key performance and efficiency gains, as well as up to 3.5x the AI performance compared to the iPad Pro with M4 and up to 5.6x faster than the iPad Pro with M1. They also feature the Apple N1 chip, which should make Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Thread connections more reliable. And for cellular models, they’ve been updated with Apple’s C1X modem (replacing the Qualcomm modem in the M4 models), which should increase the iPad Pro’s speed when using cellular. Available for pre-order now, the M5 models start shipping on October 22.
AppleApple 14-Inch MacBook Pro (M5)
The 14-inch MacBook Pro with Apple’s M5 chip is exactly the same as the M4-equipped model that was released in the fall of 2024. However, according to Apple, the M5 chip makes the new model “get even faster, more capable, and delivers a huge leap in AI performance.” It’s available for preorder now, with shipping starting on October 22. It starts at $1,599, just like its predecessor.
AppleApple Vision Pro (2nd-Generation)
Apple just upgraded its Vision Pro mixed-reality headset. The key feature of this second-generation model is its inclusion of Apple’s new M5 processor, which promises to deliver significant improvements in performance, graphics, and battery life compared to the first-generation model (which utilized Apple’s M2 chip). Additionally, it now comes with a new Dual Knit Band, which should make the headset more comfortable to wear. Other than that, the M5 Vision Pro looks, works and costs the same as the original Vision Pro, which was released in 2024. It goes on sale on October 22.

The headphones promise to deliver flagship-level sound, active noise-cancellation and comfort. That said, what makes them stand out is their ability to deliver high-resolution sound, both wired and wirelessly. When connected to a source via a USB-C or 3.5mm cable, the HDB 630 can play audio at up to 24-bit/96kHz resolution. When used with the included USB-C transmitter, which plugs into your smartphone or laptop, the headphones support aptX Adaptive and can play higher fidelity audio over Bluetooth. GoogleGoogle Home Speaker
The Google Home Speaker is the company’s next-gen $100 smart home speaker. Google redesigned it both inside and out so that it looks very similar to Apple’s HomePod mini, thanks to its rounded design and 3D knit fabric covering, and improved its 360-degree sound. Most notably, the speaker is integrated with Gemini for Home and a new service (Google Home Premium) that’s powered by Google’s Gemini AI. This means that, in a nutshell, the smart assistant should be way more conversational (and smart) than Apple’s Siri. The speaker will come in four different colors (Jade, Berry, Porcelain, and Haze), but you’ll have to wait to buy — it won’t be available until “spring 2026.”

NestNest Cam Indoor (3rd-Gen) and Outdoor (2nd-Gen)
Google has introduced updated versions of its Nest Indoor and Outdoor smart home cameras. Both have the same design as their predecessors, but are now available in new color options. The big upgrade is that each supports a higher resolution picture (now 2K HDR) with a wider field of view. They also have a new cropping feature that zooms in on whatever prompted the alert (be it a person or a pet). Additionally, these cameras come with twice as much storage for free video clips — the 10-second motion-activated clips can be viewed for up to 6 hours after they were recorded, instead of three.
NestNest Doorbell (3rd Gen)
Google’s third-generation video doorbell looks much like its 2022-released predecessor, but the new model has an upgraded lens and sensor, allowing it to record 2K HDR video for the first time and have a wider field of view. It also has a convenient new zooming feature where, if there’s a motion-activated alert, the camera will zoom in on the subject (person or animal) that triggered the alert. It costs $180, just like before, and is available now.
AmazonAmazon Echo Studio and Echo Dot Max (2025)
Amazon announced two new smart speakers at its big hardware event this year: the Echo Studio and the Echo Dot Max. The Echo Studio, which has been Amazon’s biggest and beefiest speaker for several years, has been completely redesigned with a new look and new drivers; it’s also roughly 40 percent smaller than its predecessor. The Echo Dot Max shares a similar new design, featuring a 3D knit fabric and a front-facing light ring with on-device controls, but it is roughly half the size of the new Echo Studio.

The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 are the brand’s flagship noise-canceling headphones for 2025. Similar to the 2022-released Px8 headphones, the “S2” models combine premium materials (mostly aluminum and Nappa leather) with gorgeous design and excellent audio quality, but the British hi-fi manufacturer has made everything a little better. The Px8 S2 promise improved sound up to 24-bit/96 kHz with support for aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless. They are slightly lighter and slimmer, so they should be more comfortable to wear. Both the earpads and the headband are replaceable, extending their overall lifespan. And they have better ANC, call quality, battery life and more. B&W is calling them the best headphones it’s ever made.

GoProGoPro Max 2
The GoPro Max 2 is the company’s second-generation 360-degree action camera. Compared to its predecessor, the 2019-released Max, the main upgrade with the Max 2 is its improved video capture capabilities — it can record 360-degree videos up to 8K/30fps and 180-degree videos at up to 4K/60fps. GoPro improved its battery life and audio recording, too. Maybe most notably, the Max 2 starts at $500, meaning GoPro didn’t actually increase the price from the original at all.

DJIDJI Mini 5 Pro
DJI’s Mini 5 Pro is the brand’s newest compact foldable drone and promises to be a substantial improvement over the 2023-released Mini 4 Pro. The main upgrade has to do with its sensor — the Mini 5 Pro is the first brand’s Mini line to feature a 50-megapixel one-inch-type sensor, and should deliver far superior picture quality and low-light performance. Additionally, DJI gave the Mini 5 Pro notably faster flying speeds (now up to 42 mph) and longer battery life (up to 52 minutes of flight time). Unfortunately for US customers, however, it doesn’t look like DJI is going to sell it in the States.

MetaRay-Ban Meta (Gen 2) Smart Glasses
Ray-Ban and Meta have released the second generation of their AI-powered smart glasses. They look just like the first-generation models — basically, like a pair of Ray-Bans — and work very similarly, too. However, the new models boast twice the battery life (now up to eight hours) and, maybe more significantly, boast upgraded cameras that are now capable of capturing up to ultra HD 3K videos. The sunglasses are available in three styles and a bunch of different colors.
GarminGarmin Venu 4
The Garmin Venu 4 is the newest iteration of the brand’s lifestyle line of smartwatches. It looks and works similarly to the 2023-released Venu 3, but the fourth-generation model has a built-in LED flashlight, improved health features, and a Fitness Coach feature for personalized workouts. Additionally, it has a 12-day battery life, which puts rivals (like the Apple Watch) to shame. Available in two sizes: 41mm and 45mm.
NothingNothing Ear 3
Nothing’s third-generation flagship wireless earbuds, the Ear 3, look nearly identical to their 2023-released predecessors — they have a similar AirPods Pro-esque shape with a transparent design. The earbuds promise better sound quality, active noise-cancellation and battery life, but the headline new feature has to do with its charging case. It’s called “Super Mic” and it essentially turns the charging case into a standalone, high-quality mic for calls and video conferencing. The Ear 3 is available in two finishes: white or black.

They also come with USB-C, 3.5mm and 6.3mm adapters, so you can use them with various source devices.

However, it features an upgraded 26-megapixel sensor and a new lens that has been redesigned for speed. Ricoh also revamped the controls, brought back the built-in flash, and gave the GR IV a few other little improvements. Unfortunately, these upgrades come at a steep cost. The GR IV costs $1,499, which is $600 more than the $899 GR III.

The main differences between this special-edition and stock M1s are in the details — this creator edition model features design elements and accents that pay homage to the Larrabee Studios and Marroquin. Like the stock M1, this special-edition model is a complete vinyl hi-fi system, comprised of an audiophile turntable, solid-state electronics and a custom two-way loudspeaker system. It also supports streaming and is “Works with Sonos” certified, making it a more modern wireless system as well.
GoogleGoogle Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL
Google’s Pixel 10 features three non-foldable smartphones: the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. The thing to know is the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro are the same size, but the latter has a nicer display, camera and specs. While the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are largely the same, the latter features a larger screen. Compared to their last-gen predecessors, the most notable upgrade comes to the Pixel 10 — for the first time, Google has given its base smartphone a triple camera system. As for the two Pros, both have a newer Tensor G5 chip and support for Qi2 wireless charging.

Insta360Insta360 Go Ultra
The Insta360 Go Ultra is the company’s latest addition to its Go series of compact action cameras. Like the others, the Go Ultra has a two-piece modular system comprised of a thumb-sized camera that pops out of a rectangular body (called the “Action Pod”) with a viewfinder; you can attach the smaller camera to a mount or item of clothing and then view what it’s capturing on the viewfinder. Compared to its predecessor, last year’s Go 3S, the Go Ultra’s smaller camera has a new design — it’s more square than pill-shaped — and thus is slightly larger. This increased size has allowed Insta360 to give it a bigger battery and a microSD card slot (instead of relying on built-in storage). More importantly, it features a larger 1/1.28-inch sensor and is capable of shooting 4K videos at 60fps (the Go 3S maxed out at 4K 30fps). It also features a new ambient light sensor, which should improve its performance in low-light situations.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is the newest foldable smartphone in Samsung’s higher-end and more productivity-focused Fold series. And it promises to be quite the upgrade over last year’s Fold 6. The only real downside is that Samsung increased the price by $100.
SamsungSamsung Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic
Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 8 series features two smartwatches. The Galaxy Watch 8 is an updated version of last year’s Watch 7, while the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, which is a fancier version that has a rotating bezel, is a new and improved version of the last Classic, which was released two years prior. Both models have a new design with squared edges (similar to the Galaxy Watch Ultra), brighter displays, faster processors, and, most curiously, a new Antioxidant Index that can tell if you’re eating enough fruits and vegetables. On the downside, Samsung increased the price of the Watch 8 by $50.
SamsungSamsung Galaxy Z Flip 7
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is the company’s sixth-generation clamshell-style foldable smartphone. It maintains a similar look and feel to last year’s Flip 6, but has several notable upgrades. Then, when you open the phone up, its 6.9-inch display is bigger than before, too. Samsung also upgraded it with a faster chipset and a larger battery. The only downside is that it maintains the same rear and selfie camera systems as last year’s models. Price has not changed.
