The bathrooms near the Martha’s Vineyard lounge at Disney’s Beach Club Resort are closed and won’t reopen for several months.
Beach Club Bathrooms Closed
The bathrooms are located between the resort’s lobby and Beaches & Cream Soda Shop. There’s a wall across the doorway that lead to both bathrooms with a door for crew members.
A sign states, “Pardon our pixie dust, these restrooms are closed for refurbishment. Additional restrooms are available near main lobby.”
We asked Cast Members about the closure and a coordinator said the bathrooms aren’t expected to reopen until spring, but they didn’t have a more exact timeframe. This may mean the refurbishment is a more extensive remodel of the restrooms.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort has also been going through exterior refurbishment and its porte cochere has been closed since June. Though the porte cochere work was originally scheduled to end in September, it has been extended through “late November,” according to the Walt Disney World website.
Exterior maintenance in general is scheduled through 2027. Disney states, “This work may impact views from various locations throughout the resort, and at times, alternate paths of travel may be in place. While efforts will be made to minimize disruptions, construction may be noticeable during daytime hours. All services—including valet, luggage assistance, and transportation—will remain available. All pools, resort dining and most other amenities will remain available.”
The pool area Stormalong Bay went through an extensive refurbishment earlier this year before reopening in June.
