A man died Wednesday afternoon after he was hit by a car on the freeway, the California Highway Patrol said.The crash happened around 12:35 p.m. along northbound Highway 160 at the Tribute Way on-ramp, CHP said. Traffic logs indicate lanes were temporarily closed until they fully reopened around 1:52 p.m.CHP said drugs and alcohol are not suspected, and that the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.It is unknown why the man was in the roadway.See news happening?
